BROWNSBURG, Ind. (FEBRUARY 10, 2026) - Shawn Reed Racing is excited to announce an expanded partnership with ATRO Heavy Duty Truck Parts, elevating the company’s involvement from associate sponsor to a key partner for the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
After debuting on the team’s Top Fuel dragster in 2025 with a four-race associate sponsorship agreement, ATRO Heavy Duty Truck Parts will now take on a larger role across the full 2026 season. The ATRO logo will be prominently displayed on the No. 8 Reed Trucking & Excavating Top Fuel Dragster driven by Shawn Reed, beginning at the season opener in Gainesville.
Based in St. Clair, Missouri, ATRO, is a prominent manufacturer of suspension and steering
parts for the heavy duty truck market and engineered for durability, performance, and long
service life. Founded in 1987, the company has built a reputation on quality and innovation,
delivering parts that help fleets increase uptime, improve durability, and reduce operating costs.
“ATRO has been a tremendous supporter of our team from the very beginning,” said Shawn
Reed, driver and team owner of the Reed Trucking & Excavating Top Fuel Dragster. “Their commitment to performance and reliability mirrors what we strive for on the race track. Taking this partnership to the next level allows us to build something special together for 2026 and beyond.”
"Our relationship with Shawn Reed Racing started with a handshake and four races—it grew
because the values align perfectly. ATRO Parts is built on a simple promise: engineer the
toughest components so our customers can keep their trucks on the road and their businesses running. Shawn's team demands excellence and reliability from every component, just like our fleet customers do every day. When you're racing at 300 mph, there's no room for failure—just like in the trucking industry. We're excited to support both Shawn and Ida Zetterström as they share driving duties this season. Ida's proven talent as a multi-time European champion and her determination to compete at the highest level make her a great addition to the program. We're proud to take this partnership to the finish line in 2026 and show what ATRO Parts can do on and off the track."
Last season, ATRO made its first appearance with Shawn Reed Racing at events including the NHRA Arizona Nationals, NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Indianapolis, and Dallas, marking the beginning of what has quickly become a strong and synergistic partnership in motorsports.
“We were proud to represent ATRO last year, and this expanded partnership shows the
confidence they have in our program,” Reed continued. “We’re looking forward to showcasing a brand built on heavy-duty performance while delivering race results that reflect the excellence ATRO stands for.”
The 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series begins March 5-8, and fans can expect to see the ATRO Heavy Duty Truck Parts colors throughout the season as the team competes.
